Record Turnout for Our Austin NARPM

Record Turnout for Our Austin NARPM "Meet the Judges" Luncheon

This week's Austin NARPM luncheon was one for the books, with a record turnout from property management professionals across Central Texas.

I had the privilege of moderating a live Q&A with Travis County Justices of the Peace Judge Sylvia Holmes and Judge Raúl Arturo González, who generously spent their lunch answering questions from local property managers.

The discussion covered everything from eviction procedures and security deposit disputes to recent legislative changes and what judges look for when cases come before the court. It was a rare opportunity to hear directly from the people responsible for making these decisions every day.

One of the things I appreciate most about the Austin NARPM chapter is our commitment to education. Laws change, court procedures evolve, and the more informed property managers are, the better we can serve both our property owners and our residents.

A sincere thank you to Judge Holmes and Judge González for taking the time to share their perspective and answer questions with such openness. We appreciate your willingness to engage with our industry and help everyone better understand the judicial process.

Events like these are one of the reasons I'm proud to be involved with NARPM and to serve alongside professionals who are committed to continually improving our industry.
